Tokimeki Records、タイのシンガー・mindfreakkk迎えた「SLEEP PARTY」DLJリミックス配信

Tokimeki Recordsがニュー・シングル「SLEEP PARTY feat. mindfreakkk (DLJ Remix)」を4月20日（水）にリリースした。

今作はタイのシンガー・mindfreakkkを迎えた初のオリジナル楽曲「SLEEP PARTY」のリミックスEPからの第2弾作品。リミキサーにフランスのリヨン出身、27歳の作曲家、ヒップホップ・ビートメーカー、DLJを起用。美しいピアノのメロディが印象的な、ダウンテンポでローファイな作品に仕上がっている。

リミックスEPには3月に配信されたフューチャー・ファンク・シーンで名を馳せたDesiredによるリミックスをはじめ、Disclosureが目を付けたフランスのディスコ・バンド、L’Imperatrice。Miami Horrorのリミックスも手がけるプロデューサー・デュオ、Lazywax。そしてMidas Hiutchとのコラボや藤井風のリミックスEP『Kirari Remixes (Asia Edition)』にも参加した韓国のDaulなどが参加している。

プロダクション、ボーカル、コード進行が素晴らしく、ダウンテンポでローファイなリミックスにとてもインスパイアされました。このリミックスのスローでディープなヴァイブスを感じて、ストリングスとピアノを入れて、クラシックのようなオーガニックなイントロでリミックスを始めようと思いました。このオーガニックなテイストはトラック中に再び現れ、私の大好きなノスタルジックな雰囲気を醸し出してくれてmindfreakkkの素晴らしいボーカルと完璧にマッチしました。

I was approached by Tokimeki Records for a remix of their new single “Sleep Party” featuring mindfreakkk and I fell in love with the vibes of the track immediately!

The production, vocals and chord progressions were amazing and inspired me a lot for a down tempo / lo-fi remix.

I wanted to start the remix with an organic introduction, almost classical with the help of strings and a piano before drowning in the slow and deep vibes of this remix.

The organic touch comes back during the track and gives a nostalgic feel that I love, and fits perfectly with the great vocals by mindfreakkk.
