共に東京都練馬区光が丘をレペゼンするIKE（IKE & rice water Groove Production）とBAOBAB MC（JABBA DA FOOTBALL CLUB）によるジョイントEP『Even though never blessed growing up at the edge of Tokyo, we will never stop sending our legit crap to the world like this.』が12月18日（土）にリリースされることが発表。合わせて本日12月17日（金）に収録曲「a letter from…」のMVが公開された。
本EPには8月に先行リリースされた「Good Time」や、90’sライクなループが印象的という「Nerd Nation」、TOMORO（ザ・おめでたズ）を招いたスムース・チューン「悪夢 feat. TOMORO」などを含む全6曲が収録。ビートはBAOBAB MCが全曲手がけた。
カバー・アートワークはYuki Chinen、衣装提供はTOMMAGEと練馬区光ヶ丘のクリエイターたち、マスタリングはSUIがそれぞれ手がけた。同じ地域で育った別世代の2人であるBAOBAB MCとIKEによるビートとラップの化学反応を楽しめる仕上がりになっているという。
「a letter from…」のMVはすでに公開されている「Good Time」に続いてYuki Chinenがディレクションを担当。IKE、BAOBAB MCの制作の様子や、動物園や江ノ島の海を仲間と楽しむ日常を切り取った映像となっている。
