The fin.がニュー・アルバム『Outer Ego』を11月24日（水）にリリースすることが発表された。
前作『There』よりおよそ3年8ヶ月ぶりのリリースとなる本作は、Yuto Uchinoが全ての演奏、プロデュース、録音、ミックスまで手がけるワンマン・レコーディング作品。2020年、2021年にリリースされた配信シングル「Over the Hill」、「Sapphire」、「Deepest Ocean」、「Shine」、「Old Canvas」を含む全12曲が収録される。
アルバムはデジタルに加えてフィジカル・パッケージでもリリース。CDの初回プレス盤には音楽ライター・小野島大によるライナーノーツが封入され、また国内最大級のアナログ・レコードのイベント『レコードの日』に合わせて、本作のLPが500枚限定プレスのカラー・ヴァイナル仕様でリリースされる。
また、本日9月24日（金）よりアルバム収録曲でもある「Old Canvas」のアコースティック・バージョンを含む、今までリリースされたアコースティック・アレンジの楽曲をまとめた『Acoustic Versions』がリリースされた。
