chelmicoが8月21日（水）にリリースする2ndアルバム『Fisihng』より、先行シングル「Summer day」が本日8月9日（金）にリリース。合わせてMVも公開された。
ワーナーミュージック・ジャパンの〈unBORDE〉より昨年メジャー・デビューを果たし、爽健美茶のCMソング「爽健美茶のラップ」や、先日リリースしたストレートなラブ・ソング「Balloon」でも話題を集めるchelmico。
今回のMVは、ストイックな映像表現の評価が高い長谷川隆一監督が担当。暑い夏の日に起こる不思議な物語を描いた、ファンタジックな作品に仕上がっている。それぞれ思い思いの夏を楽しんで欲しいというchelmicoのメッセージも込められているという。
さらに、アルバム『Fishing』リリース日となる8月21日（水）には、神奈川県の葉山森戸海岸にある海の家「OASIS」でのイベントも決定。本イベントは、『Fishing』というタイトル通り夏らしい場所でのフリー・ライブ。夏の思い出作りにも最適かもしれない。。
