luvis is a Kyoto-born, Tokyo-based singer-songwriter, track maker, and guitarist. Drawing from jazz, soul, alternative rock, folk, and the organic textures of the natural world, luvis’s sound is intimate yet expansive — anchored by a singular vocal presence that lingers long after the music fades.
She has performed two years in a row at SXSW 2024 and 2025 in the United States, and was featured at SUMMER SONIC 2025. In May 2026, she also performed at The Great Escape 2026 in Brighton, UK — one of Europe’s leading showcase festivals — further expanding her international reach. Her appearance on NPR’s World Cafe has helped attract attention from media abroad. “Higher,” the lead track from her latest EP Blue Inside You, was selected for TV Asahi’s EIGHT-JAM “Best 10 of the Year by the Pros” feature in 2025, and reached #8 on Japan’s Spotify Viral Chart.
