An SSW (Singer-Songwriter), Track Maker, and guitarist from Uji, Kyoto, now based in Tokyo. They handle all songwriting, composing, arranging, and track-making themselves. They aim to convey the primordial emotions that existed before words, passed down from previous generations, to people living today and to those of future generations. Their music is characterized by an organic sound influenced by jazz, soul music, alternative rock, folk, and nature, along with a unique vocal expression. The name ‘luvis’ comes from ‘luv’ (love) and ‘is,’ symbolizing a lifelong pursuit of expressing and exploring the question ‘What is love?’ through their art.

先代から受け継がれてきた言葉になる前の原始的感情を今を生きる人々へ、さらにはその先の時代に生きる人へと繋いでいく。ジャズ、ソウルミュージック、オルタナティブロック、フォーク、自然が生み出したものから影響を受けた有機的なサウンドと独特な表情を持つ歌声が特徴。
luvisはluv(love) is から来ており、生涯かけて「愛とは何か」を模索しながら表現活動を続けていくというテーマを掲げている。
